About Me
Experience

Trainee UX Designer, UX Design Institute, Dec 2019 - Nov 2020

On this Project I led the Research and Design of an Airline Booking Application, reducing User Friction by 20%.

• Used Observational & Qualitative methodology (Usability Testing), Attitudinal & Qualitative Methodology (Depth
Interviews), Attitudinal & Quantitative methodology (Online Survey) and Competitor Benchmarking at Research Phase.

• Synthesised User Pain Points with Affinity Diagram. Used Customer Journey Map for Goals, Behaviours, Context,
etc. and Flow Diagram for the User actions on each page.

• Addressed the Interaction Design aspect, the Interactions and Micro-Interactions the Customers would go
through when using the finished Application.

• A Medium-Fidelity Prototype was created, along with a Wireframe detailing everything that could not be
expanded upon in the Prototype.

• Lastly, I did another Usability Test using the Prototype I created for the Airline Booking App recording the results.

Freelance UX/UI Designer, The Business Developer, Nov 2020 - Dec 2020

I was the UX Researcher and UI Designer on this Agile Project working alongside an experienced Project Manager, who
oversaw the Conversion Rate Optimisation and redesign on a responsive Business Development website. The result was a
30% increase of traffic to the site and an offer of a Business Developer Role for the Owner.

• Conducted Stakeholder Interview along with PM to identify the Primary and Secondary Goals of Client. Interviews
were also done with HR and Recruitment Agencies.

• Worked in week long Sprints to deliver a minimal viable product for the Client at each stage of the process.

• Research findings were organised using Affinity Diagram before Customer Journey Map was used Client already
had an account with a Online Website Builder tool so Flow Diagram had to align with the Templates on offer.

• Atomic Design Principles used to create the finished Website.

• User Interaction was established and Conversion Rate Optimisation Techniques were applied to MVP.

UX Designer, Self-Initiated Project, Jan 2021 - March 2021

The Big Five Personality Test was a Self-Initiated, Design Thinking Project, I worked on Part-Time to maintain my
UX Design Skills. I created a low-fidelity App that addressed the issue of unintentional influencing by the design
of the Apps.

• Empathised with the Users of this type of App by downloading Competitor Apps already on the market and
performing both Usability Tests and Competitor Benchmarking at Research Phase.

• Began Ideation phase by synthesising findings using an Affinity Diagram before doing a Customer Journey Map for
Goals, Behaviours, Context, etc. of the User as they make their way through the App. A Flow Diagram for the User
actions on each page.

• A Low-Fidelity Prototype was created as proof of concept, along with a Wireframe detailing everything that
could not be expanded upon in the Prototype.

• The App only had a minimal amount of interactions to be taken into account, such as starting the Test by
pressing a button on the Introduction page to start the test, pressing the button on the Likert Scale to give the
answer, a button to press when the test was over and lastly a button to press if the User wanted to do the test
over again.

• Defined the problem statement that the Apps were unintentionally influencing the User taking the Test through
the packaging and design.
